    I remember seeing Joss Stone when she was fresh to American tv..
    Her looks didn’t hurt in getting her some attention but it was really her talent…here was a 16 yr old girl belting out the blues almost like like she was channeling Janis. . amazing

    Chris, when I listened to your link to “Rock of Ages” the opening words “Gunter Glieben Glauten Globen” jumped out as I thought those words were originally from the Offspring’s “Pretty Fly”. I went back and listened and realized that the Offspring in their later song were paying homage to Def Leppard by using the same opening words (which according to Def Leppard”s producer Mutt Lange were just a gibbersih alternative to a traditional “1 . . . 2 . . . 3 ” count in).
