“The purpose of life
is to live it,
to taste experience
to the utmost,
to reach out eagerly
and without fear for newer

  1. True dat, Eleanor R!
I worry today that so many are not living life….they’re just existing. 😦

  2. MH—I love this philosophy and I find it ironic that so much of my 20s and 30s were spent doing the opposite in pursuit of a “respectable life.” It wasn’t until my 40s that I began to realize the futility of those values and how a lifetime of regret is the only possible outcome. In the words of Wayne, “Party on, Garth!” XO DWD

  3. Nice Eleanor quote. She sure had a lot of wonderful life quotes! 🙂
